
“House of Villains” will return for a second season which will air later this year, E! announced on Thursday.
The unscripted competition series pits 10 notorious villains of reality TV fame against each other in a series of challenges as they outsmart, manipulate and scheme the others in order to win a $200,000 cash prize and the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain.” Each week the contestants compete in a battle-royale challenge that tests their physical, mental and emotional strength. The winner of the challenge is safe from elimination and at the end of the week one villain is sent home.
Anfisa Arkhipchenko, Johnny Bananas, Shake Chatterjee, Jonny Fairplay, Bobby Lytes, Corinne Olympios, Omarosa, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Jax Taylor and Tanisha Thomas were featured among the Season 1 cast which ended with Tanisha Thomas being crowned as the winner. Joel McHale will return as host and production on Season 2 will begin in February.

The show’s Oct. 12 premiere drew in 1.2 million viewers over the course of seven days of multiplatform viewing. By December, the series had become the cabler’s most-watched new series since 2020’s “The Bradshaw Bunch” with 730,000 total viewers — 327,000 of that figure being in the 18-49 key demo — across all platforms which includes E!, Bravo, Syfy, USA, VOD, NBCU cable apps, and YouTube in L+7 viewership figures, per Nielsen. After 35 days of viewing across platforms, Season 1 is averaging 919,000 total viewers and 410,000 in the 18-49 demo. Season 1 will become available for streaming on Peacock on Feb. 19.
