It's been revealed Devon & Cornwall Police are to close 34 stations and offices over the next 5 years.
The force is preparing for budget cuts of up to £54m - and it's predicted the closures would save more than £1m a year.
None of the sites are currently open to the public.
The Police and Crime Commissioner's office say they would prefer to spend the money on officers rather than on bricks and mortar.
Andrew White, chief executive for the PCC said: “For some months we have been considering how best to reduce our estate, to reduce costs and create income whilst still maintaining an effective base for operational policing.
“We had hoped to undertake local communications at each location before making this announcement but, as staff at certain locations are being informed of plans, it was fair and transparent to publish the full list."
